What Is GI?

The gylcaemic index (GI) calculates how fast your food breaks down into glucose in your body. Simple carbohydrates like processed foods break down faster in your body. These foods have a higher GI rating.


How Does Low GI Food Help Me?


When the glucose in your blood rises, the pancreas will start flooding your body with insulin. Insulin is a hormone that allows your body to use the glucose, as well as storing it for future use.
